    fitting LMFs heated seat pads

im thinking about fitting heated mats to my seats but wondered if i could use the normal heated switches from a factory astra and modify the wiring so it look more factory rather then just use the toggle switch that comes with the kit

the kit i am getting has 2 heat settings, 1 is max and other is half heat so would this be a problem?

here is the switches i get with the kit

you could just use the factory switches and find out what wire does hot and what does med then find the pins out on the factory switch for max and somewhere around med? just a thought mate, then it would be very oe

The standard heated seat switches only have one position, so you'll have to decide if you want the medium or hot setting.

If thats the case what the hell does the rotating wheel do

I know other models just have on/off but Im 99.9% sure the Astra G uses a variable switch

It is a temperature control, but the standard astra seat has only one element.
What I should have said is, you won't be able to use it correctly, as the aftermarket kits have two heater elements, one for low & one for high.

with heated seats u can then have air con on or even cold air

hot air everywhere in the cabin can make u feel tired whereas cool ambient air mated with heated seats is a well know proven combination but top marks for comedy
