    how do you remove centre silencer..? it wont budge..

    Im trying to take off the centre silencer and replace it with a gt3 pipe. I have un done the uclamp but cant pull it off of the other pipe. can anyone help please?

    remove or undo back box, remove all the hangers for the pipe and use it's brackets to try and twist it free.

    That's what i did
    Coupe now being broken for parts

    Done all that but it wont move. guess il have to keep trying to twist it

    Heat may be the only option, the pipe joints will be sealed with some exhaust sealing paste which sets like concrete once it gets hot...and after a few years it'll be royally hard to remove.

    Ive just done mine tonite and i used the trusty hammer.

    It was a pig but it did come off with a bit of twisting and bashing !

    tried the hammer now when i twist it i can hear it move a tiny bit. im gonna have another go tomorrow
