    what astra to buy?

    afternoon all...

June last year I decided to buy a mk5 1.8 club and its a nice drive an all but I still feels like it lacks power and speed considering the amount of petrol it uses so ive decided to get rid and but another astra.

now unfortuetly the VXR is a no no for me for 2 reasons...

1 I simply cant afford it as I like to in a lump sum (cheaper in the long run)

2 As ive got young children so cant be dealing with 2 doors at this present time

just wonderd whats the next best thing (5 door)?

    thanks in advance

    sxi or sri?

looking at autotrader, a 2.0ltr sri 5 door seems to be an option if you are looking for 5 door with power!
Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall

Stick a box on to get 200bhp and you're waving to the driver of a VXR all the way passed the speedlimit

Ditto on the CDTi 150, I'd have one myself if money permitted, they're powerful enough but drop a tuning box on and you're into serious bhp and torque figures
