which amp to run for the kicker S15L7 dual 4ohm

I bought the Kicker Solo baric 15" L7 D4 sub for £90 off ebay... which amp shall i run it with? unfortunately my budget is no more than £140.

currently running it with theloudest.com 3000w amp, i thought it was the 4channel amp, but its more likely to be the 2channel - i bought this one last year from ebay for £49: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3000w-Car-Ampl...1%7C240%3A1318

but this amp doesnt seem to be good enough as i put the volume up, the sub cuts out. had it all professionally fitted as i dont know how to install ice. and have been told the amp may not be powerful enough to run the sub.

soo as the title asks, what amp shall i get? what specifications do i look for?

Don't bother with the loudest dot com that amp probably runs about 300 Dirty watts RMS at the most, probably not even half to get that kicker going well

The kicker Sub is something like 1000 watts RMS

So a budget of £140, you are looking at second hand really

If you look long and hard enough, you can find JBL Gt1201.1 for about that price or if you can stretch to about £190 for a brand new one like here, it runs 1114 watts RMS at 2 ohms

which amp to run for the kicker S15L7 dual 4ohm

I had one of Pheonix Golds QX Amps which was quite cheap, very reliable and good quality. Nothing special at the end of the day, but you get what you pay for

    your sub is 750w rms
dual 4 ohm means you can have an 8 ohm or 2 ohm speaker
    id recomend 2

so youl need a powerfull amp
and for 140 quid itl have to be a cheap one

i cant quite get my head around how the wattage works when useing the dual core speakers but im thinkin the 750w rms is proably too much to put through a speaker whatever the manafactures think

my mate has an auna amp for his pioneer 1000w rms sub

its cheap and cheerfull but dose the job with no complants

at the end off the day you need enough watts at 2 ohm rms to do the job thats what your looking for
