    coupe exhaust

My coupe exhaust tip is looking a bit tired,

dont really wish to get an entire back box, tried polishing it and cleaning it with everything i can find but i couldnt make it clean or restore it to its former glory,

what would be involved in replacing the tip?

Depends on what you want top do.

You could cut the tip off and clamp a chrome one on OR cut the tip off and weld a new tip on.

Or you could buy my backbox off me for cheap? Its stainless steel and tbh i fitted it myself, VERY easy to do and im not a mechanic. Its from a 1.8 coupe aswell so its the right one. Couple of the guys on here can vouch for me too dunkz,giraffe,chris...

    Pm me if your interested.

They come in flange or sleeve fitments too so you both would need to see what you have.

I would be willing to cut the tip off no problem, could i get any exhaust place to weld on a tip??

i have looked at ebay tips but i doubt that material would hold up to welding....

Any custom exhaust place should do it for you.

They will have a range of tail pipes to choose from too
