    can anyone give me some advice please ?

    hiya , i have an astra mk4 2.2 sri and i have just had a de cat fitted by powerflow . my engine management light has come on recently , can i have my ecu sort of reset to cover the difference now i have no cat ? . any advice would be great , by the way this decat got me poppin and banging and i love it . cheers guys

    The light is on because the diagnostic system has detected that the catalyst is missing. The post cat HEGO sensor detects no oxygen storage going on, which is what the catalyst does to covert CO into CO2. You can have your error memory reset - it should be showing error code P0420, but it will come on again after approx three short/medium trips of mixed driving. There may be in existence a supplier which can supply a link loom for the rear sensor which will send a 0.5v (approx) signal to the ECU fooling the diagnostic system into believing there is a functioning catalyst fitted. I'm surprised Powerflow don't offer this as I suspect all gasoline vehicles 2000MY and newer should be affected - could be there's some legal consideration? Maybe Powerflow already do somethig like this as part of the conversion and the light has come on for another reason. First thing to do is check which error code is present.
