    Inlets on at last.

Finally finished after starting at 10am today. had a few issues to sort out such as needing to drill the throttle body holes open a bit and not having a drill lol. So anyway piccys.

    How it started this morning...

    First few things off...

    And manifold off....

After a bit of fiddling it was in position, so things could move on....

Sorting the vacuum pipes was easier than expected....

The view of the mess i was making from my living room, mid job cup of tea break.....

    And boom she's in....

Hardest part was getting the damn throttle body in, as the holes were just a bit to close together, but eventually i got it on. Not so happy with the position of the throttle body but time was getting on and couldn't be arsed trying to push cables out the way, so a job for another day maybe. The blue vacuum piping will be changed for black soon to.

One thing im a bit worried about is my fuel in line to the fuel rail. It fits but its very tight as you can see.....

Now will this angle be ok or should i do something about it. I have spare rubber line and some connectors but im really not wanting to cut into the fuel line if i don't have to.

it runs though, im having a brew at the mo before i take it out as im shattered so will report back shortly how it drives.

looks good fella and ver suttle too. I wouldnt be too happy with the fuel line either, just looks too tight for me and could cause some problems in the future.

now waiting for your update on the test drive!

Good work Matt, looks a top bit of kit.

Fuel line needs sorting ASAP IMO, you don't want that splitting and spraying petrol everywhere.

Are you getting your map tweaked for this?

i'd personally be seeing if you could extend that fuel line, but not by cutting into it, by screwing like an extention pipe onto it then onto the fuel rail if that makes sense?? also can't wait to hear how she drives!

To late already cut it lol. I tried to find an extension to do just that but couldn't so bought some fuel piping and connectors from merlin motorsport. Will look into getting a proper remedy in good time. Its not going to be driven tonight as fuel sprayed all over the engine so going to leave it until the morning.
