i cant get my exhaust off!

I have recently bought a GT3 centre section and tried to fit it the other day. The bolt was seized on really hard, so i used a butane torch and heated it up. After about an hour od trying i finally got it loose. Now that the bolts loose the clip that goes round the sleeve wont move at all, and the sleeve itself isnt budging no matter how hard i try!

    Anyone got any advice?

How old is the car? When i was changing my exhaust it was rusted on so bad i took it to an exhaust place, they just cut the old exhaust off and fitted the new on, charge me something like £40 to do it all which i didnt think was too bad.

mate its pure brute force and twsiting!! i did mine about a week ago had exactly the same problems. fortunately i have acess to a ramp but yh it was literally dose it up with WD40 **** it with a hammer and twist it off ... take it off the rubbers 1st then you can properly twist it.

get a socket extension place it on the rubber mounts **** it with a hammer they'll slide off, then get a mate to hold the centre up the **** the actual bracket. also get a flat headed screwdriver and force the bracket apart makes it easier mate.

Pain in the ass mate. I was doing it when we had the really cold weather. Heat up the rubber brackets a little, even just with some hot water, makes it so much easier trust me! As for getting the clamp off, mission! Mine was stuck so used a splitting chisel and managed to chisel it off, even then it was still stuck, so, as said pure twisting and force does the trick. I was laying under the car on axle stands twisting whilst my mate was pulling the flange at the back, took about 2 hours i think.
