clutch slip, can it be adjusted also?

    Hi,

Over the past couple of days my clutch has slipped a couple of times when pulling away hard, does this neccesarily mean its on its way out?

After, i put the handbrake onand tried pulling away and it hasnt slipped, and it stalls pulling away in 3rd also.

If the worse comes to the worst, does anyone know how much of a big job it is to do the clutch on my engine?

And also is there any way to adjust up the clutch? On my corsa i could just adjust the arm and i could have it set up to how i want, my car is a bit of a pig to get into first unless nearly stopped.

    Thanks

when you say slips do you mean the revs build but the car dooesnt move? or is there a vibration?

also the clutch is hydraulic (if you have a mk4 g) so no adjustments can be made

Yes its hydraulic, i was just wondering if there was anyway to adjust it to compensate for wear, but im guessing this is done automatically.

Yes it slips as in the revs build and car doesnt put all the power down, its just wierd that it doesnt do it often, and ive even tried giving it everything with the handbrake on and it still didnt slip :S
