Rear passenger door speakers not working.

    Hi all
Just wondered if any one with any experience of the wiring might have an idea as why both the tweeter and main speaker (woofer) i think..
might have of stopped working on the rear passenger door of a 2002 zaf gsi? Swapped the tweeters over with a known working one and it doesn't work so i'm thinking it must be the wiring... Oh and i checked the stereo fader etc.

Only noticed because the door lock stopped working on the same door. Checked the door wiring all ok.. the lock needs replacing i think.... but the speakers? I have absolutely No idea? The electric window works.. also a clunk noise is heard from the door lock when the central locking is set it just doesn't work, so juice is getting there as far as i can see or hear..
    Any advise appreciated.. Cheers

You may have broken wiring in the door loom, common enough problem if that door gets used a lot.

Cheers SQ man I did wonder if it might be the loom i looked beneath the rubber grommet but couldn't see any problems but it does seem strange that both the door lock and both speakers are not working.
Do you know if the loom for the door is an easy job to replace and can a new one be picked up cheaply? Does it connect into the main set of wires via a plug or something similar or would the wires them selves need splicing?
    Thanks for your help..

The door loom does have a seperate plug on it, on the MK4 astra at least it's in the body of the car but i'm not sure where it is on the Zafira

Expect a new loom to be at least £50 from vauxhall

loom on the bus plugs into the bonnet corner of the door, prise the blue clip out from outside then it simply slips apart

    Thanks for all your help!!
The speakers was indeed a broken wire which i have now repaired.
The door motor must be the actual unit itself, which I don't know why has decided to come back to life, (A couple of days after I fixed speaker wire) but i'm going to replace it anyway because i can't keep guessing....think its just coincidence.

    Thanks again..
