Tracking done - but steering wheel still not central??

I've just had my tracking done today by a fancy tracking centre with bluetooth tracker connected to a computers.. and got the following shocking results!

    Off-side Front: -6.3
    Near-side Front: +3.7

So thought this would be the source of my problem of the non-central steering wheel when driving in a straight line. Now the O/S and N/S front are set at 0 which is spot on and no longer pulls but my steering wheel is still not central! It sits slightly to the left (about -30 degrees off central).

Is it a case of me just taking the airbag off and re-centralising the wheel manually now the tracking is correct or is there another underlying issue??

    Thanks for any advice

You'll probably find when the guy set the tracking up he didn't have the steering wheel straight or maybe knocked it slightly

either that or he's only adjusted one side to bring the toe back in line, and not both sides proportionately

take it back and tell them to do it right

I was there when he did it and made sure the steering wheel was straight when he clamped it down. I always look over them as dont trust garages when doing tracking.

He did adjust both sides Geoff, again i was there watching and telling him to make sure he did it right!
He visited both sides a couple of time infact to get it spot on and when he moved one side it knocked the other one out...

he may have done both sides but he didn't do it correctly or else your wheel would be dead centre

it wont be a case of tracking now, just gotta move one side in and the other side out the same amount to square the wheel up now

that's throws a different light on the matter

Is the self cancelling on the indicators the same on both sides? ie does one tend to self-cancel a bit to quick and the other a bit too slow?

Now you say it, yes i do.... Can't remember which side does it thou! I think its when i turn left and left indicator is on it needs quite a dramatic turn to switch it off.
