    Exclamation New Car Gone Wrong!!!!

I went to pick up my SRI Turbo today and i drove it out the fourcort and the engine started juddering, the engine management light came on and it started missing like hell, got back to the fourcort and sat it idling and it bareley managed to stay alive.

I want some honest opionions on weather this could just be the coil pack or something more serious, should i return the car. Your thoughts and advise are welcome
    Summers

i guess you just left the car on the forecourt? I would refuse to take it until they have properly fixed it.

did you do the pedle test mate ? to see if there was any code's there?

ok here's how to do it,

befor you put in the key, press down and hold with your feet on the accelarator AND brake, then put the key in turn the key twice (dont start it) and you will see a litttle (spaner light in the dash ) if it keep's flashing there's no fault's there, (but ) if it flash's then has a (liltte) pause and then flash's pause/ flash's pause flash's , there could be a fault there, so count the flash's 1-10/ 1 being 1, 10 being 0

    e,g 3 flash's (pause) 4 flash's (pause) 8 flash's (pause) 10 flash's = 3,4,8,0

get them down on here im sure some 1 will help and tell you the code's

it's worthva try, but mine was like that not to long ago, and it a missfire, No'3 spark plug,

    hope that was some help

Sod us, it stays with them until fixed or you don't pay - there'll be a cooling off period on any finance (if you have it) so you can cancel within 7 days I think.

I'd be sorely tempted to give it back for a refund now...

And with most forecourt buys, you get a 3 month warranty.

Do NOT mess with it yourself.
    Let them deal with it.

    Good luck.

i with nry ,, if you have'nt bought it tell them you want it fixed or the AINT GETING A F___KING PENNY, but try and do the peddle test befor they take it away, get the code's down and tell them you want them cleard too, so when you gety it back it's running ok take it for a good test drive, and then try the pedle test again,, if ok it's up to you bud,, but dont rush in to it mate, there's more and more gsi's /sri t going on sale these day's ,

or get a them to pay for a AA warranty a full gold 1, so it should cover you, it's worth a try mate,
