    Richbrook gear surround

    iv just brought a chrome one, it says to use a drill and screw it in place etc, only thing im worried about is, is there any wire etc around the gearstick, i dont wanna drill through them but dont wanna remove the console lol

    You don't have to remove the console. Only the bit under the handbrake (screwdriver to prise it open).

    Then unscrew the gearstick surround and do the drilling out of the car!

    will the screw that come with it hold it as they just look like bolts? straight etc

    there's 2 Torx T20 screws. Take them out, the pull the panel back and it'll slide out. Then just remove the gaiter boot

    Yes they will, 5 of them IIRC. But its not hard to misalign the holes on the plastic surround over the gearstick as there is not a lot of room for error. Sounds confusing but you will see what i mean.

    done it, i didnt bother removing lol i just screwed it on. fits like a glove, looks lovly too
