    Steering wheel shaking at 70mph?

Hi all ive drove home tonight and noticed the steering wheel felt like it was gonna shake off when i reached 70mph? I did bump a curb last week and had to change the wishbone but the garage said all the other parts of the suspension was fine, and i also had the traking done. Any ideas?

Get the wheels balanced if you haven't. You may have lost a weight, or now need an extra one adding.

As Buckle says, get the wheels balanced.
I would also get the wheels tracked if I was you too.

It is probably a balancing issue, but if you have had any part of the geometry setup changed, then I would get the tracking done aswell.

must have been a fairly hard impact with the kerb to need a change in wishbone - as above really, id give the wheel a checking first to see if you have put a flat spot in it, i done this with my g during an argument with my mum and a traffic island. then id get the balancing done and probably the tracking too, but id use a different garage. iv heard of garages claiming to set the tracking, charging you for it and a month later you need new front tyres

I have been getting exaclty the same :| ever since ive had bodykit fitted and the calipers done my wheel tends to shake alot at 60mph+ and it goes off to the left one min and next its to the right... I dont understand it as they did take wheels off to paint brakes but surely thats not enough to do the above is it? Sorry for the slight hijack

i got my wheels balanced and it didnt fix it, i also got it tracked and that didint work,
so if you have after market alloys you will prob need spigot rings for your bore to fit the hub properly

This can also be caused by faulty tyres...
