What is the difference between these 2 coupe's...

What is the difference between the

    Astra Coupe SE1 Bertone
    Astra Coupe SE2 Bertone

As far as I know, they were both special editions, and were only available in 'Europa Blue'

But what isthe difference between the se1 and the se2?

    Thanks

    werent the wheels different?

maybe different interiors ie c.control/heated seats/tc etc could have been standard and not an optional extra?

    as far as i know

    The SE 1 and 2
    both are described as having
    17" Alloys
    Spoiler
    Lowered
and the only colour available is Europa Blue
(apparently the Turbo's came in a more pearlescent blue)

It's just I'm looking at purchasing an SE2 coupe
but noticed a few SE1's on my travels and am not too sure what the difference is

The difference is the year they were produced. They were both special editions and the SE1 was produced in 01, and the SE2 in 02 other than that they are the same

On the middle of the SE2 run, VX decided to stop lowering the rear suspension on the SE2 and Turbos

iirc there may be some slight trim differences but basically they are the same.

Also, the Bertone bit means nothing. Every coupe is a 'Bertone Edition'.
    Previous Astras: 1994 Cesaro 1.8 16v | 2002 SXi 1.6 16v | 2001 Coupé 2.0 Turbo | 1999 LS 1.6 16v
    Other Vauxhalls: 2001 Vectra 1.8 16v| 2003 Vectra GSi 3.2 V6 | 2005 Signum CDTi 150

The SE1 Didnt have the side airbags in seats were as the SE2 did. Also on the SE1 there may be the odd one out there if any that would have the X18XE1 ( throttle cable engine) were as all the SE2's would have the. Z18XE

Other than that there is no difference

    Hope this helps
