    removing the rear door cards?

    as i wanna take the rear door cards off but how do i got about doin the window winder bit ?


    i know there is a rubber washer but is there anythin behind that ?

    there is a metal clip behind the winder, just use something thin and pointy to push them off.

    The clip looks like this and you just need to push apart the bits with the arrows pointing at them.

    No longer an astra owner

    Or, you can bend a small hook out of some stiff wire, catch it onto the clip & pull it off.

    The open bit will usually face towards the winder handle.

    got the plastic cover off it the clip in the door or on the winder?


    and where can i get one of of those tools from ?

    it's on the winder handle riight behind it, there's like 2 slots each side of the winder handle that it passes through and grips the metal part of the winder mechanism and that's how it holds the handle on. tbh it just takes a bit of faffing about and you'll get it. Once you've done it the first time, the rest are easy. I feel your pain though, I was pulling me hair out until I figured it out.
