    Bilstein B4 shocks...?

I have a coupe turbo and im looking to change the suspension for something a little better. I already have 40mm lowering springs and intend to buy a white line RARB, my question is, is it worth spending money on B4 shocks or should I just use the standard shocks? I dont want coilovers and moneys to tight to buy shocks which are more expensive than the B4's.

    Opinions please?

(just to add my shocks are on 57k)

B4's are £55 each for the front and £39 each for the rears, RARB will probably come from courtenays.

the standard shocks seem a little soft, I do a fair of country lane driving so want something to stiffen up the body roll etc.

yh ? i mean lowering it will defo help a lot even on standard shocks, uprated will obviously help more but the RARB will do a lot aswell

o and tbh by the time you've bought all 4 shocks and springs you've gone well over the cost of coilovers, i got the hot tuning coilovers on mine and tbh they've improved handling no end and theyre really good value for money

You may find Demon Tweeks cheaper for the RARB.

And yes its worth spending money on the Bilstein shocks imo.

I have already picked up the springs cheap enough so im happy there, im not keen on the ebay coilovers tbh and no other coilovers come close price wise.

Im just wondering whether its worth spending the money on B4's if they arent really much better than standard shocks.

Last time I rang demon tweeks they were about £160, not the £100 in their catalogue ... apparrantly due to the weak pound ... so I was told

    EDIT : Price of ARB
