    Hi, and welcome.

You will not need the clutch switch as diesel's already have them fitted.

There is a member on here who sells the Cruise control stalks have a look in the forsale section.

I fitted Cruise Control to my car last year and its great.

But any vauxhall specialist with a Tech2 can active (spl) the Cruise control

True,, i fitted it to mine on saturday and i also heard that all diesels have the clutch switch already.. bonus for me was i didnt have to get tech 2 to activate it. I just fitted the stalk and took it for a spin and it worked.. happy days. stalk didnt cost me anything either, it fell into my pocket at the scrapyard.ha

So does that mean some cars actually left Vauxhall with it activated already then and just not with the stalk fitted?

I know this is probably a stupid question but would there be any way to tell if it is activated with out fitting the stalk first?

you can tell by fitting the stalk, or getting it plugged into tech 2, its only a 15min job to get it activated
