Angry "drive em in, tow em out"

i went to a local garage yesterday TO HAVE A LOOK AT MY HEADLIGHT as one wasnt switchin on. the guy said it was cos no power was going to the headlight... and started fiddling with the fuses - moving some around.

he couldnt find any fuse that wasnt working and tried to start the car.. THE CAR WONT TURN ON!!!

i have a triptonic semi-auto astra mk5... it goes into the first click, but usually when its in first click, there is in an "N" on the dashboard and i can press down the brake to start.

now theres no N, its just blank and i cant start the car! he tried for over an hour and in the end i had to call green flag to come and tow my car!

he couldnt fix it and couldnt offer any solutions... and even had the nerve to joke "this is what you call a drive em in, tow em out service". i cannot believ i went in for a headlight and now my car wnt turn on!

COULD HE HAVE MOVED A FUSE HE SHOULDNT HAVE? as far as I know, thats all he messed about with. otherwise anyyy ideas about what i now need to do would be helpful.

Find where the autobox fuse is and see if it's blown / has one in place??

Location of said fuse should be in your manual
Actively proving that post counts mean jack sh*t since 1971
