    1.7dti recommended oil

    Hi, gonna change the oil in my van and was wandering which viscosity to put in and if anyone can recommend a good make, don't really want to take a mortgage out for it been changing it every 5k or so.

    I used Vauxhall Semi-Synthectic, i believe it is 10w40, you can get over their spares counter. On trade club is about £7.50inc VAT for 5 litres.
    Still use it in the 2.0DTi.. It what they use in their garages for servicing so i just carry on using it.

    Join AOC as a paid member and you have access to the trade club membership number and thus the discount

    4 for 3 offer means u get 4 x 5ltr for the price of 3 - works out at about £8 with vat

    thanks for the replies i think i put carplan 10w 40 in it last time so i'll stick with that. how much is it to be a paid member of aoc? is it a one off payment?
