Quality light output for the headlights?

    Right forum? Hope so...

Just used the search function for the angeleyes. They look good (imo) but don't appear to be getting a good write up as far as light output goes, even as far as to say they're quite dangerous. Hmm.

Read posts saying you need HID's with them, or just HID's in general, but the fact i've read these are 'not technically road legal' puts me off.

"But mine has passed x-amount of MOT's" & "i've never been pulled" is probably what i'll get to that, but i'm not really willing to risk it myself, as good as they may be or may look.

I suppose that limits me to bulbs. Just wondering what?

Is nightbreaker really the only option available then? I bought some for my Escort & i guess they were brighter & what have you, but, is there any bulb out there that's better, or, as said, are nightbreakers the only option remaining with this criteria?

if you want to stay legal then nightbreakers or halfords extreme brilliance will be your best bet

the thing is they really arent that much brighter than standard

you can get 100 watt bulbs but these are illegal so you may as well get hids if your considering them

Aye that's what i thought when i fitted them to the Escort. "owts better than nowt" but i still wasn't real impressed.

Would like to go the HID route, but, the legalities have totally put me off. I probably wouldn't get pulled and it would probably pass every MOT it goes for, but, i'm not wanting to run that risk really.

nightbreakers on an eBay special it is then

    cheers

Just go for hids, worst case you will get a warning and then just put them back to normal, dont think anyone has been pulled and made to take them off yet? it will just be a waste of money getting slightly better bulbs
