when you say ngk plugs!, which ones? if they are bkr5**** series then it will be those! when i first bought mine, the first thing i thiught was SERVICE so off to vauxhall i went and bought the stuff, did it and mine ran like a bag of spanners. after searching a few of the forums i found that it was the plugs! the zlet really doesnt like the standard plugs even when they are a different make! i went for the ngk bkr6eix irridiums and gapped them to suit, 0.8mm on a standard map and its been fine ever since so i would do the plugs first!!! also i personally wouldnt be using a 5w-30 oil in the zlet as it doesnt offer as good protection as say a 40 when its hot! a 30 is far too thin when hot and can pass the oil seals on the turbo causing smoke from the exhaust! also they sound clattery when hot on that viscosity oil! hope this is of help mate so do the plugs first!!

The reason why they recommend it is that that is the oil they buy in bulk. The new turbos use it not the old ones

really dont know to be honest! i tried them in mine after the vauxhall ones i had when i first serviced mine and it didnt like them either! best thing is buy some bkr6eix irridiums! courtenay are selling them at the moment for £30 including delivery! there is a seller on ebay for £29 delivered! i got mine from courtenay so i knew they were the right ones! it will be the bkr5eix thats causing your idling problem mate!

They dont soak the heat up enough as the the zlet runs quite hot and they lose there properties making them a crap plug for the zlet. Go for a cooler plug like a heat range 8 or similar and this should cure your problem.
I nievely bought these as "vauxhall recommends them" and had the same issue, changed them to 8's and runs fine now!

I'd be tempted to complain to the garage who fitted them Kev - I never realised how much difference there is with either the correct plugs or ones with the correct gap - when I got my NA LPG serviced by a 3rd party garage who specialise in LPG, they altered the plug gap slightly and darn did it make that extra little difference in smoothness of driving on LPG!
