    new member with a question

    hi guys and gurls i have a mk3 astra van and up untill a few weeks ago she was running perfect but i parked her up a couldnt go to work for 10 days
    and now she wont start


    i have put a new battery on her
    jump leads
    towed her

    ECT ECT

    whan i tow her she sounds like she wants to go but dosent fire



    any help is much appriceated

    Could quite literally be anything mate!!

    Just like a fire, for a car to start it needs air, fuel and heat (spark). So start checking each component individually until you find the problem.

    Start with then easy stuff like visual check of hoses for leaks, check/replace air and fuel filter.

    Then check whether the battery is holding it's charge and that the connections are clean and tight.

    Then check the ignition system and spark plugs etc.

    Finally check the fuel system such as the fuel pump etc.

    just do what i do, call the aa and tell them its just broken down on ur way somewhere lol
