Can my xenon headlights be fixed?

My headlights on my Gsi got damaged when it had the front end crash. All 3 brackets on each light got broke. My lights are made by Hella. Can they be fixed in anyway or the insides be swapped over onto a new light? The fronts are in mint condition, it's a shame to see them go to waste . I have all the brackets from the lights, but some of them don't piece up well against the light, when put back on from the original break. Any info would be great. Cheers

if its just the brackets, then I'd glue them back on and then fiberglass over them for strength

Yes it's just the brackets that are smashed. The rest of the lights are perfect. Just those stupid plastic bits that have all broke . What a good glue for putting those parts back on? Cheers

lets hope you can repair them. the hid ecu underneath costs a small fortune so would hate to think the price headlamp itself is. you should ask around for a person who can do plastic welding

Some kind of plastic glue. the fiberglass would provide most of the strength anyway.

you could also have them plastic welded back on. bodyshop could probably do that for you.

I will look into it. I can't think of many body shops that would do it round my way, but I can always ask them.

Just to let you know how much they cost from Vauxhall. One side was £171 and the other side was £327. So I need to get them fixed for sure lol

i own a gsi with the xenons also, there bloody expensive arent they! my nsf xenon keeps filling up with condensation , which then turns to water, priced one up from vx at £320 odd. was it near side you got quoted as most expensive?
by the way do you have any problems with your xenons condensing up? ive got a thread going at the moment in astra g electrical section, if you have, cheers

ps i agree with above, glue brackets on and then put fiberglass over the join
