should be on the inlet manifold - round the back of the engine - near to where the alternator is.

fan should kick in at 92

as its an 8v im assuming ur thermostat is stuck - mega common on this engine - new stat, CTS and fresh coolant and ur sorted..... only thing is - stat is behing timing belt! so best advised u replace that too

CTS is coolant temperature sensor - ie what i believed u were referring to - ie on the inlet manifold

the thermostat is totally different and more than likely the root cause of your problem

the CTS senses the engine temp and feeds back to the ECU telling it to add more fuel if necessary etc.... this usually causes over fuelling/stalling when it goes tits up

you could always just put a new belt on and change the stat? Ive got a new Gates belt lying around u can have for nowt if u want it - let me know.

would just need tensioned up etc and ur sorted.

bottom right (or is it left) of rad is a little drain tap which u turn and it all comes gushing out.

grab a haynes manual if ur stuck - would be useful if u wanna change the stat/belt ur self
