Right, with the old cdr500, obviously when you type in the code once it doesn't ask for it again unless you disconnect the battery. It also saves the radio stations and settings, aswell as being able to use the steering wheel controls.
I have just bought a new kenwood headunit and every time I turn it on I need to enter the code, new radio stations can't be saved, the date/time are reset and you can't use the steering wheel controls.
Has this got anything to do with the 3rd block that has no where sit when you plug the loom into the headunit?
If so, how do I sort it out.
