    Speedo problems

First of all hi to everyone

My lights went out on right side so i couldnt see speedo or fuel gauge in dark.

So i took the clock console out to fit new lights. When i put it back in one light was out and ended up being i forgot one. Anyway when i fitted this put it all back in none of the lights worked and the speedo and fuel gauge now dont work.

I have since found a plate which must go into the plug and that plastic piece holds it in but have fitted this and still no difference.

First what is the plastic chip or whatever it is that goes into the plug ?

Does anyone have any idea why the speedo or fuel gauge wouldnt work now ?

Only touching i done was to move needle to the speed i was doing while going through a village with one of those your doing blah blah signs.

Im puzzled and have no idea what could be wrong

when you fitted it back in, did you make sure it was seated back properly before locking into place with the clip?
