    Estimate BHP ???? for quotes

    HI folks,
    Nearly renewal time for me..

Just wondered what am I supposed to claim for power BHP if I have a device that can change it whenever ??
(IPF so I can change map when I want to) ??

Last time I think stated a rough estimate figure....but should I state what power i'ts supposed to have ??
Although all engines are different ... so not always the same for each car...
    Hope you're not confused...

    thanks

Safest bet is to quote the power figure that the IPF is meant to give you. More than likely youll be under that power estimation anyway.

Quote it well under, then if you crash make sure you take the engine with you so it can never be tested.

In all seriousness, quote what the engine is meant to run at max, insurance doesn't care about the 90% of the time you drive around in economy mode they care about the 10% you drive in fast mode

    Hello,

We would normally rate it based on the maximum BHP that the device increases it by, If this helps.
