    courtesy car question

Basically... Im on my own insurance and as part of the insurance i get free Courtesy Cars aspart of my policy (with morethan)

Question is.. are said courtesy cars only cars from the insurance if i have a crash and my cars taken away for work.. or does it mean im insured on garage courtesy cars... ie take my car infor a service and they loan me a car for the day??

this is because my cars infor a service on the 7th of Feb at my local Vaux and i could do with a courtesy car and was wondering if this would cover me or not...

as far as i'm aware, it only covers you for courtesy cars when your car is at a approved repairer. not a garage unless they are.

Some places like do cover you on them when in at garage for service or repair automatically, others you have to ring them up.

Like i do at our places 5-6times a day. lol

no probs, most places don't charge even if you have to add it to the policy. Some do tho

Ive with more than and it only covers if you have an accident and need a courtesy car.

When mine went in for a service i added the courtesy car to the policy and it didnt cost me any extra.

Barclays had on there certificate that the policy holder can drive a courtesy when the car is in for repairs or servicing.
