Clunking noise coming from left back side of car, advice pls!

    Hello all....

im in need of some advice please.Everytime i put my foot on the brake i can hear a loud clunking noise from the back left hand side, which is worse at higher speeds. My local garage checked the suspension and said there was no probs and they thought it was something to do with my exhaust.I have a twin magnex exhaust that has been on the car for 3 months before the clunking started, also the car has been lowered by 50mm but again was done months before the clunking.Im wondering if it has something to do with the actual brakes themselves as i recently had the back discs and pads upgraded and the clunking prob started about 3 weeks after that.

Any advice would be brill please am i starting to worry as the clunking is getting very loud indeed.

    Cheers

Perhap's its missing a rubber on the exhaust?

How good is the garage you took it to, only asking as the bushes could have gone on the damper?
