what do they mean when?
they say they can fit the exhaust from the flexi pipe back? does this mean they just put the stainless steel system onto the flexi pipe?
when i called a dealer for powerflow they sed that they would do it from the flexi pipe back and if i wanted to replace the flexi pipe it would cost around extra £100 for a stainless steel flexi pipe... Is this the normal way that they do it when they fit a cat back system on the astra?
also what is the standard exhaust size on the astra i was told by this garage its 45mm and he was gonna be upgrading it to 2" with the powerflow system meanin i would get a slight performance increase but wouldnt this be a bottle neck then at the flexi pipe end? or would i notice a difference stil?

yeah at the end of the flexi pipe theres a about 12" of pipe then theres a flange on it, so basicly your new exhaust would start there. So if you got the flxli pipe in s/s as wel this wolud take you up to the cat so baseicly then you have a s/s cat back system, as for pipe diameter joinin on the flexi pipe it woud be joined at the flange so there just be a step down pipe inside so it seals tight to the flexi pipe flange, when the flanges are bolted together hope that helps m8
