    job interview

finally i have a job interview it only at the local supermarket but hey.
just wondering what to wear like shirt, tie, smart trousers or just like smart/casual as its only a supermarket. i wouldnt have thought it would matter to much as you get given a uniform any way.

I would go shirt, suit and tie.....it may be "only a supermarket" but if I was interviewing someone that couldn't be bothered to come for an interview smartly dressed then I wouldn't employ them.

    First impressions count for everything.

I would never turn up for an interview in anything less than a suit personally.

If it gives you the extra edge over the others that are being interviewed then it is well worth it.

good luck with the interview m8,yip shirt/tie etc would be better as first impressions count, tells them your making an effort you don't want to be seen as a scruff as they would think well if he does'nt take care of his apperance then whats he going to be like working here.

good luck m8 a jobs a job these days as its a step on the employment ladder.

What supermarket is it? When i joined Tesco i wore smart casual and about 5 people with me didn't even bother and wore their normal clothes. Every single one of them got the job so tbh' if you can prove your the best for the job then (within reason) it won't matter what you wear. Saying that personally i would always make an effort. Goodluck with it mate!

unfournatly when i go it just normal people like me that have to get the money to survive. it not something i brag about and i dont like doing it but i have to.

anyway the interview went ok only thing is they said they had 20 people apply for this one postion. so looks doubt full as i have no retail experiance.
