i wouldnt put an induction kit on it mate! you will lose power from the engine due to heatsoak! (engine breathing hot engine bay air) you need colder denser air into a turbocharged engine! most people deristrict the airbox, fit the vectra c air intake pipe and fit an aftermarket panel filter! you will hear the turbo this way but not as much. use the search function and you will find loads of info on the airbox mod! welcome to the site also matey!!!! not sure if the vectra c pipe will fit the zaffy but someone will confirm either way!!! think it should though!!!!

Thats thinking out of the box.
    I like it.
So air intake goes straight to empty air box then AFM to turbo?

Dont use an after market open air filter/induction kit. There useless! I have the 1.9 CDTI MK5 Air box on mine. Defo worth the money. Better performance! I had a K&N on over xmas and i lost loadsa power! Only had power top end, had none low down!

1.9 Set Up with Courtney Sport Filter

    K&N Filter

Do a search for the 1.9 set up. Its been covered loadsa times.

well i wouldn't say cone filters are crap. i very rarely suffer from heatsoak and it takes a while of being stationary for it to come into affect. i have a proven 15bhp increase from my apexi.
