    Headlight aim - vertical adjustment

I know this has probably been asked before, but does anyone know how to adjust the vertical aim of the headlights? When adjusted to position "0" they are slightly too high (seem to blind some oncoming cars) and slightly too low on setting "1". Ideally I want to adjust them to so that by default they are in between these two settings.

Don't need to start messing about with the horizontal aim, just the ertical.

the only way to do that is to mess about with the headlight leveling i'm afraid (the wee white hex screw on the top of the headlight under the bonnet)
