Just cleaned and waxed my car

I woke up to find a lovely mild morning and a very dirrrty Astra so I decided to give it a bit of TLC and wash and wax it.

Snow foamed first then washed down, dried off and waxed with Meguiars wax, tyres dressed and rain repellent applied to the rear screen.

Here's the results (sorry about pic quality, they're taken on my phone)

What i used to do was get some bug and tar remover from Halfrauds.

put a wee bit on one end of the cotton bud and get in about the badges, then leave it a little while then use the other end and buff it off and bobs your uncle

Another cheap wee trick is to get an old microfibre cloth, cut a couple of small squares off and wrap around the cotton buds, this is a bit harder wearing than the cotton for more stubborn muck!
