    black door strips

    hi
    has anyone very sprayed these there selves?
    if so how did you do it?
    i take it you have to sand them down to smooth then promer paint laquer?

    as far as I am awate, its the same process as for interior plastic spraying. heres the How To link
    as for removing the bump strips... not a clue but there prob is a how to on that and/or someone will tell you.

    the door strips are textured, so need sanding with 180 grit paper, then 2k primer.. idealy a plastic primer should be used before the 2k primer, but you can miss this stage out.
    once primer is dry the next day, flat with 800 grit wet/dry paper.
    then base coat the colour, then lacquer.
