1998 GM Engune 1.7td Fuel Pressure Line Leak Again!!! Help

Im having the same problem again and again. As you look at the engine the fuel pressure lines run from the diesel pump to the injectors. the second fuel line (the one in from the left) keeps cracking where the bolt goes into injector just above the union.

I have changed this fuel line twice now and just dont know what is causing it. The other ones are fine it's just that one.

    Please Help!!!!!!!!!

Got to be something holding the line under tension perhaps? Did the lines fit into place easily without any need to adjust/bend slightly? Did the pipe screw down onto the injector easily?

If they're cracking at the point where they come out from the top of the injector i'd have a look at the top of the injector itself with the pipe off very closely to see if there is anything that would cause a crack to start at the flared edge & travel up pipe - a burred/damaged screw thread on injector perhaps?
    Best Regards,
    Nick..

funny you should say that as it didnt fit into there with ease, there was a slight bit of pushing over but only minimal.
where and how can i get my old pipe repaired and made to fit?

Agreed, find one that doesnt fit on under tension, that should do it. I wouldnt entertain any sort of repair.

    fuel leak

check that all bolts that hold injector pump are there and tight as pipes only leak/snap under vibration.take it the clamps are still there holding all 4 pipes together
