    Volkswagen Polo MK4/6n Exhaust Q

The g/f has one of these in the 1.4L outfit.

She says the exhaust is a bit noisy. As i don't drive it everyday, i guess it's a bit loud towards the front maybe, so perhaps it's blowing a bit, but it wasn't sounding as bad as mine did before i had it changed.

She had something done to her exhaust at the end of 2007/start of 2008 IIRC, but i can't remember what - whether it was one part that was renewed, or the entire thing. I think it was perhaps one pipe, or maybe even a hole welded up or something - i can't remember.

anyway, she doesn't know where to start (& i'm no better) - so any ideas on what the system would cost for a new one (& also, is a decent, respectable eBay seller selling any of these for not much more than standard (such as say, Cybox/GT3 do with the Astra))?

I know it's not Astra, or even Vaux, but i thought i'd give it a shot

have a listen under the car give it a little few revs, find out were the noise is coming from then go from there to get a better veiw on the cost.
