    electric turbo/superchargers

    has anyone seen the electric superchargers on ebay iv just came across them and was wondering if anyone has baught one. do they work? are they any good?

    im guessing if they are powered by electricity it will need to be connected to the battery or a battery sourced cable, which means when it is spinning up, the drain on the battery will be increased and potentially affecting the performance of the sparks generated in the engine, resulting in weaker bangs???

    For what they are i personally wouldnt bother, but thats my opinion

    You're probably better off using a homemade PC fan that'll somehow go onto your induction kit.
    I mean if this thing really does works then why are people still buying turbo etc at such a high price when they can buy this thing

    If your computer has a fan out, may be a decent replacement.
