Dad just ripped the back bumper off my car! :-(

this morning i was woken up by my mum telling me that dad had "hit a speedbump"

i went outside to see that he's ripped the back bumper off, its a samurai bumper, and the whole plastic bracket at the drivers side that holds the bumper on seems to be snapped, is this an expensive repair?

the tailgate seems to be holding the bumper on right now

i've just had a big bust up with my dad as he's blaming me for it, he says that i lowered the car, and fitted the kit, and made it undrivable, hence its my fault :-(

You need to stop letting him drive it! Depends what damage has been done, but a bodyshop should be able to fibreglass a new bracket on.

yeah i know, he just takes the car though, he has a set of keys to it,

its not the little clip on the bumper thats snapped (well that it too) its the big black plastice bracket under the passengers light that hold the bumper on to the car

body shop should beable to do it mate but you might be better looking for a cheap replacement bumper and having is sprayed. i had a bump on the front left corner of that kit and it cost me £150 to have repaired and sprayd that was just before you brought it lol

Same as the above really. If that was my dad, it'd also be my fault for altering the car in any way at all.

My dad was telling me how i should buy a standard exhaust last night & have Kwik Fit fit it, instead of the Cybox one i bought. Aye cheers :|

You could always put a steering lock on if he has a set of keys

be carefull driving without backbumper due to shark points on the rear of the car and the rear number plate light fitting into the bumper
