Id just get a pair of discs from MTEC on ebay £100 then mate them up with the pads of your choosing

1.9 will have 308mm discs as per mk4 turbo and non-vxr mk5 turbos

    Discs here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRILLED-GROOVED-BRAKE-DISCS-ASTRA-ZAFIRA-VECTRA-308MM-F_W0QQitemZ120305746060QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsP arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item120305746060&_t rksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3 A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Then pads of your choice..... I rate EBC Yellowstuff very highly but Greenstuff should be ok for your standard 150bhp if thats all ur running...
If above then Yellow is my advice

Redstuff is in between but not as good from cold - totally ur call.

    EBC part numbers are
    Green - DP21183
    Red - DP31183
    Yellow - DP41183

(just type into ebay for price)

ive seen those disc when i was looking, so are they good quality?

is yellow stuff better pads for me then, as i have a tuning box, so its prob around the 190 - 200 bhp mark.

    Yeah top notch discs mate

used by hundereds of members on this forum

Im onto my 3rd set (different sizes each time) and they are top notch - even had a set made as a one off from the seller so they will do all they can to help
    Superfast delivery too.

Greenstuff arent recommended for anything over 200

So Id opt for Red or Yellow

I personally dont like Red as they arent very good from cold - Yellow on the other hand are...... Red are low dust, Yellow arent

    Guess what u prefer

Some like Red - I dont so guess you have to make ur own judgement im afraid

Price difference is probs only about £10-15

For the money saved on getting the MTEC discs Id splash out on Yellow stuff....maybe get some braided hoses whilst ur at it and fresh fluid throughout..... just a thought

    massive improvement

i wouldnt be tellin u to spend £180 as opposed to £47+VAT on trade club at Vxl if i didnt

all depends what u want at the end of the day

Standard compound pads and discs would probably do the job adequately and if u can access trade prices then at a fraction of the cost
