    high beam HELP!!!

evening all. i have got a set of FK ANGEL EYES with hid dipped beam and standard bulbs in the high beam. when i drive on country roads though and put my high beam on, they are just shining towards the floor, i removed the lights and using a screwdriver i bent the cap that covers the high beam bulb upwards a bit as i thought this may make the light higher. this hasnt worked though because obviously the other reflective backing is pointing downwards still, does anyone know how to make them better or adjust them, i was thinking of removing the cap thingy but will this help? i dont really fancy getting hid's in the high beam either because of the time they take to warm up when flashing people etc, thanks

They are on the same mounting plate.

Did you align them when they were fitted?

mine do this too, I don't think high beam and dipped can be alligned seperately. Seems to be they point where-ever the dipped point. down. now that I've got hids I hope I'll not be using high beam again

You really need to get them aligned properly, if there mis aligned then the car will fail the MOT. My wifes car had the opposite problem, was lighting up the trees, at its last MOT dipped was on upper limit now I've adjusted them main beam is now spot on.

Make sure both headunits are set to RHD with the lever inside, maybe one of them is wrong? There's a picture somewhere around showing what you'll be looking for
