    whats this cable Astra 1.6 8v 1998

    The white plug not connected, do any off you lads know whats it for.
    Dont know how to resize photo

    look like it should plug into the other cable with the white plug which is to the left of the header tank cap! dont know what its for though!

    or it could be for those cars fitted with an MFD computor, that checks various aspects of the car, including water level of the cooling system
    Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!

    is the one at the bottom connected?
    just that one is for the power steering and looks like it's a 2-3 pin adaptor that was made available to fir the later steering pump

    Just went and checked again as in the photo it looks like the white near yellow cap is a plug as well but its just a tag .

    I only noticed it the other day and was curious to what it was for.

    Their are now other cables near it to connect to.

    Not sure if clear in photo but it is cable tied so no slack.

    only other thing is the bonnet contact switch for the optional alarms as they get tied up there but i thought they were all black plugs

    I'd go for bonnet switch plug for the alarm also, just looked at some pics I have and my connectors partly white at least

    Well the car runs fine, so maybe something to do with alarm if i had one fitted which i dont
