    Battery dying?

Was taking some snaps today and had the engine running while doing so.

Got back in the car and battery warning light is on, stayed on for my whole journey home but went away when I turned it off then on again- Tho it did take a bit longer to start

Simple case of new battery time?
    Thanks

sounds like a new alternater if the charge light is staying on,hence the battery will go flat

you need to check the voltage output from battery while engine running! if 13.4v - 14.6v then the alternator is working well. if around the 12.4v - 13.0v then its showing tired signs and needs replacing and if less than 12.4v then its f****d!! (check all the wiring to and from the alternator, starter and battery just to eliminate poor wiring resulting in high resistance. wires will be fraid and/or green looking).
