    Windscreen Washer Pump

    Hi All,
I am new to the club and have a problem that I need help with???
I have a MK5 Astra SRI 1.7CDI 2005, I have a problem with the washers - I have checked the fuse and it is ok - I then changed the pump - still no luck - no sound off the pump motor - could it be in the engine management system ?? - the problem started with the big freeze and I thought the bottle was frozen??- It is starting to do my head in!!!

    Cheers

Common problem on this is the fuse, we've had poss approx 60-70 people in the last few weeks with same problem. and its been the fuse. and we've had alot of people in whos said they have checked the fuse and is ok, think their checking wrong fuse.

One question does your boot still open, cause this stops working aswell if fuse has gone?
life's to fast to go slow. so get the turbo.

Who advised you of this? I dont know the car myself but you should never put a higher amp fuse in than is recommended as the cable may not be able to handle that many amps.
