    Vinyl on rear coupe bumper

A few weeks a go somebody hit the back of my car. Im in the process of trying to get it all sorted out as she didnt want to go through insurance.

What has crossed my mind is that in the recess of a coupe rear bumper there is a vinyl strip. I guess this needs to be removed when doing a full bumper respray. Is the vinyl strip available as a separate part from vauxhall so i can replace it after its been sprayed????
Or are there other options i could go for?

    Thanks

Just have it re-vinyled. Or you can have it sprayed gloss black when they're doing the re-spray!

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

If its a good painter repairing the bumper then you dont even have to remove it as the part of the bumper it sticks to is slightly raised so he can mask around it and you wont even tell. Had the same done on my car, plus they are about £20 from the dealers.
