    Eibach Springs Which Ones

Hello, I'm Looking To Buy Some Eibach Springs But I've Found That There Is Two Choices On The LMF website. I Will Be Using My Standard SXI Shocks.

The Pro kit Or the Sportline?

Whats The Differences? and Has Any One Here Had Any Problems With Either Pro or Sportline.

    Thanks

    Michael

Also depends on which model of mk4 Astra you have.

I believe the SXI (amongst a few others too) is 20mm lower than standard, so if you order 50/30mm, you are actually only lowering the car by 30/10mm.

I would call them first & check this out with them.

i bought the bilstein cheap ones just because mine needed changing, so i dont think there any better than standard shocks, my mate has them on standard and there fine! i only changed mine because i wanted it lower! and 60 is too small for my shocks rele!

Aren't the Sportline's (50/30) stiffer aswell? The ProKit is supposed to balance a softer ride with better handling...depends what you want really.

People rate the Eibach's, no arguements, but I rate my 40/40 Jamex springs which were £55 when I got them new, or £65 or so new now..you pay your money, you take your choice. They corner amazingly well but yep, they're noticeably harder than the OEM springs...which I like

Personally I am not keen on the nose heavy stance of a 50 front/30 rear drop either...for a few reasons I guess

Oh and yes, the SXi sits 20mm lower already, so a 30/30 kit will lower by 10mm more (or so), the 50/30 will lower 20/10 more.

    50/30 is a must

30mm is nowt and almost worthless bothering

in all honesty the claimed 20mm is more like 10-15mm ultra max

anyway its not just heigh difference - its new lowered springs versus nackered rusty originals....

    go on get the 50/30

click on my garage for pics of mine of 50/30 with 17s
