    MOT passed but...

    ...I do need new brake discs front and back and also the exhaust is on it's last legs and will need replacing in a month or so.

    Exhaust is a no brainer, Milltek with the sport cat. Brakes though I'm not so sure on. Was thinking of just replacing the discs with some grooved/cross drilled sort as the current set up seems pretty darned fine to me as it is but I'm guessing a lot of you may have upgraded to the 2/4/6 pot and other multitude of items that are available and wondered your thoughts on them.

    Im up grading mine tothe VXR 322mm. Notput them on yet but should make a bit better stopping power.

    Do you think you could hurry up and fit them then please, purely in the interest of being able to let me know if they are worth doing :-) Out of interest, how much and where from?

    Ive read upon afew posts and people have said there alot better than the 308mm.

    Well I'm trying to weigh up that I'm no speed freak so the standard ones seem pretty good. Tuning wise the absolute top I'd be ever doing is the Stage 1 type re-map tweak, I'm never going looking for big power with it. In other words, if the stand brake size is perfectly up to my eventual tuning needs it seems daft spending on something I just really don't need. If you catch my drift.

    Just get some after market discs and pads then Claire... Cheaper than vauxhall anyway. I overheat my brakes and thats scary but if you have never done this then why spend more like you say.
