    Stearing wheel lights problem

    Well the dont turn off even then car is locked anyone had this before?

    I think i've heard of this before, probably find the centre display stays lite up slightly?

    The first thing to try will be to disconect the battery to reset the headunit. Before you do this make sure you have the code though

    Yer tryed that and still doing it now my brake light bulb keep blowing so looks like ive got a fault some where...

    Your problem is probably a faulty headunit then. To double check remove it and see it it still happens

    Sorry to hijack this, my date on the display comes on when the radio is on and the lights on my steeringwheel controls go off. but if i press source and go to cd then the date goes off and the steering wheel lights come on?? is this a dodgy wire or a common thing??? aftermarkert head unit by the way

    Took the radio out left it a while stuck her back in and still no joy....

    Just tryed an old Vauxhall radio pluged it in and there still on so my head unit must be ok going to leave my battery off for a couple of hours and see wot happens

    Jimma with the radio out did the lights stay on still?

    Spidercoupe You probably have a Sony headunit, they switch their electric aerial feed off when your not listening to the radio which turns the lights off and the date back onto the display

    No with the radio out the lights arnt on ..so that means its the headunit ?But then it done it with the other headunit so there must be a fault with the headunit wire's?
    Going to run a live feed to the radio and bypass the vauxhall iso..
