    Question Injector replacement.

I have a mk5 1.8 astra and was wondering how easy it was to replace the injectors on this car? Mine seem to be overly noisy in my opinion,so i was considering replacing them to see if that makes any difference,of course i'd be happy if someone told me that some injector cleaner would probably solve the noise but if not then changing them might be the ticket, also does anyone have a rough idea about the price of these??

    Cheers.

    wynns injector cleaner - £6

new injectors - £60-£80 each (guess)

personally i would try cleaning them 1st.
how many miles has the car done? and have u ever ran it right down to the petrol light and then a little further on? (as this can bring grit up down the fuel line and into the injector blocking it up

I've not had the car that long,so i don't know if it's ever been right down to the petrol light on fuel,as for mileage,it's just coming up to 10,000.

    Cheers.

Well i'm suspecting the injectors,it's coming from that area and the car was bought privately,so no warranty.

    Cheers.

That's correct,it was first registered june 2005,so as far as i know there's no warranty left. I've had fuel injected cars before and i don't remember any of them being quite this noisy with their injectors(if that's what it is of course).
